“A Refreshing Place to Live”

Upcoming Events

For the SPRING of 2023, we will host the annual Community Clean up where members can bring a truck load of items to be dumped.  A date has not been set yet, so keep checking the website.  Also, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Fishing Derby.

Annual Meeting Update

Thank you to those members who came and voted at the Annual Meeting!  We hope more people will come next year.

On the ballot were several items to be voted on, Board of Directors and the 2023 Budget. Board members were voted for a two-year term (The new listing of the 2023 Board of Directors is posted on this web page).  The 2023 Budget was ratified (passed) by the membership in attendance.

We are still looking for another person to be on the Architectural Committee!

We had included a Survey about the height and type of fences for the front of our property.  The outcome of the FENCE Survey showed that the majority of those that replied want six-foot fences, any style.  The Board will be discussing next steps on how to implement this in the Architectural Declaration at the December 12th meeting at 6pm in the Key Peninsula Civic Center.  Please join us!

If you miss this meeting, contact any member of the Architectural Committee. See the post on our board members on this site for contact information.

Water Boxes

You may see Dave or Ed or another volunteer in your water box, don’t panic!  Each year they put bags of sawdust in the boxes to keep them from freezing.

Also, they do regular exchanges of backflows (gummed up ones with cleaned ones) so that the water you drink is safe from backflow of dirt and other elements.

Volunteers

Thank you to all the people that have volunteered this year!  This keeps our cost of running the HOA down for everyone.  If you have time, we are always looking for more people to help with different projects and events. This entry was posted in Community Annoucements by Chuck Wood.
