The FISH will be here on May 6th, around 10:00am!!!!

Come one, come all. Bring your cameras!! Watch the 786 Fish we have ordered, get transferred from the tanker truck, through transparent slip tubes, into our lake.

Recently, during a year when the lake level was low, more tubes than usual had to be connected together to reach the lower than normal lake water level. More connections and joints always means there is a potential for issues, especially when water is involved. Well, unfortunately, one of the tubes broke! You can only imagine the chaos and excitement as it was a Fish EVERYWHERE situation.

Thanks to the quick thinking of those who were on hand, coats, garbage cans, buckets and the like were pressed into immediate service, all with the intentions of saving the Fish. It turned out that their efforts were rewarded, because not one fish was lost!

Like last year and the year before, this year on Monday, May 6th 2024, we will be able to witness the fish drop. Ed our wonderful all around man, will be on hand to supervise and suggests that those who are interested, should arrive at Pete Rix park around 9:30 am, as the scheduled time is for the actual drop is around 10:00 am.
